All of our coasters and trivets are cut from local beach stones including Jasper Conglomerate- Puddingstone, Gowganda Tillite- Black Puddingstone, Granite, Petoskey Stone and other local beach stones. They all have been coated with a high gloss finish and have a cork backing to protect furniture from marring. This Trivet is Heat Resistant and can be used to place hot pans and pots without fear of damage to finish.
